About

I'm Agustín Vera, from San Rafael, Mendoza, Argentina. I solve problems end to end, with whatever technology they need.

I'm Agustín, from San Rafael, Mendoza, Argentina. I work with companies and people who have a concrete problem: a spreadsheet that can't keep up, an old system nobody wants to touch, or a process that depends on someone remembering.

My job is to solve that problem completely. I start by understanding how they work today, then I design the solution and build it. After that I take it to production with backups and automatic deploys, migrate the data and stay along for the first weeks of use.

Why cross-disciplinary

I started on the front end, but real problems never stay in a single layer. An order lost because there's no signal is a data problem, a sync problem, an interface problem and an infrastructure problem all at once. Over the years I added design, back end, databases, infrastructure as code, DevOps and, lately, AI. Today I pick the tool for the problem, not the other way around.

For whoever hires me, that means one person who understands the whole path: no hand-offs between "the designer", "the back-end person" and "the infra person", and no decisions lost along the way.

How I work

  • The problem first. Before proposing anything I look at the spreadsheet, the old system and how work really happens.
  • Small scope that changes something. Short stages, each one leaves something usable.
  • Production from the start. Infrastructure as code, CI/CD and backups from the first deploy, at a cost the business can sustain.
  • Decisions with reasons. Every technical decision is written down so anyone can understand it later.

What I'm doing now

  • Taking Roleo, a pre-sales and delivery system for a distributor, to the streets.
  • Finishing the front desk system for Ayum Elun, a cabin complex in Valle Grande.
  • Building Remotia, to delegate projects to coding agents from my phone.
  • Building this site, which you'll soon be able to explore in 3D.

Journey

  1. I started on the front end

I taught myself web development with courses and practice projects, and studied the University Programming Degree at UTN.

  2. From front end to back end

I added Node, relational databases and APIs so I would stop depending on others halfway through.

  3. Freelancing as RoneDev

Websites and apps for businesses in San Rafael and beyond. Every client brought a different problem, which pushed me to see the whole path.

    End-to-end systems

Roleo, Ayum Elun and Rutinero, with discovery, design, data migration, infrastructure as code, CI/CD and backups.

    AI in the workflow

Coding agents in the way I work, and AI products like Remotia, to delegate projects from my phone.
